You’re at week 9 of your pregnancy. At this stage your baby approximately 3/4 inches which is around the size of a grape. Their organs are developing and you see mobility in their arms as it begins to bend when they move around. When you visit your obstetrician or gynecologist and an ultrasound is taken you are able to see the natural progression of the nose, eyelids, fingers, toes from week 8. It’s a marvellous site to behold.
Pregnancy Signs & Symptoms
During week 9 of your 40 week pregnancy, you would have most likely experienced at least three symptoms mentioned below
- bloating, cramping, or spotting
- tiredness or fatigue
- headache
- irritability or mood swings
- nausea with or without vomiting
- frequent urination
- breast changes including tenderness, swelling, or tingling feeling, or noticeable blue veins
- raised basal body temperature
- mild pelvic cramping or discomfort without bleeding
- food cravings or aversions
- a heightened sense of smell
- metallic taste in the mouth
